We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Operations and Commercialisation Manager to join our dynamic digital team. In this role, you will be responsible for maximising commercial opportunities in the digital space. The challenge is to scope and implement go-to-market commercial opportunities utilising the digital platforms, by creating use cases and workflows with different stakeholders. The successful applicant will lead in establishing and overseeing robust governance structures that support commercial opportunities and client engagement.

Whispers Operations & Commercialisation:

Whispers is the digital home of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. Clients gain access to the inaccessible, to discover rare finds, to connect with like minds, to be the first to receive news and offers, as well as accessing and managing their Rolls-Royce garage. Members also have access to a 24/7 complimentary concierge service.

Concierge - enabling rich client insights and bolstering our position as a luxury house.
  • The service delivers rich insights on client expectations and tastes that enables us to better engage them as a wider business - ensure these insights are compliantly captured within CRM, as well as educating the business on these key learnings - sometimes, this will involve technical integration via the wider department.
  • Manage the white label Concierge provider for ongoing quality against agreed SLA's, seamless experience, optimisation of insights, and incremental revenue generation.


Governance:
  • Act as the department representative within the business Compliance Committee - championing compliance and raising awareness within the department of necessary protocols.
  • Act as the lead across the department to ensure all teams are working to the prescribed audit standards - ensure regular reminders of protocols.
  • Ensure the ongoing integrity of the Whispers Community and brand through structured and diligent processes and checks.
  • Act as the connector with the wider team (Product Owner/s Digital Services / Analytics / Central customer database, etc.) for any planned new features / functionality to ensure they are aligned with, and approved by Legal, Compliance, Data Privacy - all diligently documented.
  • Continuous process improvement for trouble shooting and proactive compliance by design.


Digitalisation Commercialisation:
  • Identify, and pitch into RRMC's Board for approval, the required strategy and required business model for a platform commerce mechanism.
  • Act as the business spearhead to collate commercial requirements for platform commerce opportunities through a network of internal subject matter experts from different specialisms to identify and propose the overall structure, in compliance with local consumer rights.
  • Investigate and pursue revenue-generation potential across various platforms.
  • Devise KPI's and tracking to monitor success.


What should you bring along?
  • Significant experience managing governance.
  • Working experience with agile working methods (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Demonstrated strong stakeholder management - this is essential to identify and corral stakeholders across multiple disciplines to progress against targets.
  • Proven ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
  • Ability to influence senior management with compelling business proposals and arguments.
  • A strong customer-focus.
  • A strong awareness of identifying potential risks and proactively navigating around these in a compliant fashion which, drives business success.
  • Structured approach to working, with the ability to prioritise the multiple requests and requirements to drive through the important tasks or programmes.
  • Good level of experience working at an international level
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in English.
