The Spa Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the facility. The Spa Manager will ensure the Spa runs as expected by overseeing and supervising appointments and activities that may occur at the spa. The Spa Manager provides coverage and supervision for spa reception area, fitness center and pool area, oversees the service providers in the absence of the Lead Therapist and is responsible for relaying maintenance and housekeeping requests to the proper staff. The Spa Manager will oversee staff training, and act as the liaison to other revenue centers on property. The Spa Manager uses strong leadership to motivate staff to achieve goals and exceed guest expectations. This job description is intended to be a broad description of duties. Work Environment: Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to stand or sit for a long period of time. Must be able to work over the phone or on a computer for extended periods of time. TSVI is located in a high-altitude alpine environment. Position may require travel on uneven, snow packed, or icy terrain and may be exposed to wet, cold and/or humid conditions. Physical Demands of Position Include: Position requires you to lift up to 25 pounds on a frequent basis and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. This position requires you to be able to stand, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, walk, talk, hear and smell. Requires ability to stand for long periods of time. Background Check: Positions dealing with children, of safety-sensitive and/or confidential nature, require driving or positions that handle cash may require a background check and MVR check. Employment is contingent upon a favorable background check and MVR check.
