Staff Accountant

The Los Angeles Rams Staff Accountant is responsible for supporting the day-to-day functions of the finance and accounting operations. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with outstanding people skills for interaction with all levels of the organization.

This is a full-time hourly position, with an anticipated 40-hour workweek.

Responsibilities

• Process daily cash deposits and maintain supporting documents
• Assist with creating customer billing invoices to ensure timely cash receipts
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations for multiple operating accounts
• Organize transaction-level data and maintain accounting ledgers including but not limited to, ticket sales, suite premiums, and sponsorships
• Reconcile data between multiple software platforms including ticketing system (Archtics) and accounting software (MS Great Plains)
• Assist with preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting month-end close
• Support in continuously improving the Company’s accounting policies and procedures
• Participate in a wide variety of special projects

Qualifications

• Accounting/Finance degree or minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in accounting/finance industry required
• Proficiency with MS products
• Experience with MS Great Plains is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy with a high volume of transactions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary Range: $25/hr. - $29/hr. Eligible for overtime pay in accordance with federal and state regulations.
