THE JOB The Gorge Amphitheater is seeking a Overnight Venue Cleaning crew to keep our venues show-ready and create an incredible fan experience. This position is responsible for ensuring cleanliness and sanitation of our venue during non-operating hours. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO • Keep the venue safe and clean at all time, including by not limited to: clean and disinfect all fixtures, floors, mirrors, doors and walls of restrooms, keep all guest facing area free of trash, restock restroom paper materials and hygiene products as needed. • Keep work areas neat and orderly, clean equipment and assist with other cleaning duties as assigned. • Show CARE by participating in the venue's sustainability program which could include implementing programs that conserve resources/prevent waste such as sorting waste and collecting recycling and educating our fans about our efforts. • Partner with fellow band members at the end of show to close the venue- this may include collecting recyclables from the lawn and/or reserved section, picking up and properly storing event equipment such as lawn chairs, barricade, Etc. • Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions. • Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision. • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. • Perform all other duties as assigned or needed. • Work Overnight shifts, typically when the venue is closed to the public WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING •High School Diploma or equivalent • Must be highly motivated and able to work independently. • Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50 lbs.+ and occasional sitting EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY We are passionate and committed to our people and go beyond the rhetoric of diversity and inclusion.
