Details Posted: 10-Apr-24 Location: Rindge, New Hampshire Type: Full-time Categories: Coaching Coaching - Field Hockey Sector: Collegiate Sports The Field Hockey Graduate Assistant position is an opportunity for an individual to further their academic endeavors within the Franklin Pierce University Graduate Programs while also gaining an extensive amount of experience in coaching in a NCAA Division II Athletic Program. The staff member must be accepted into any of the Franklin Pierce Master Degree Programs prior to being selected as a Graduate Assistant. Duties & Responsibilities: •Assisting with essential daily tasks that are key to running a successful NCAA Division II Field Hockey program •Assist with practice planning and implementation •Game day responsibilities •Administrative responsibilities related to scheduling, organizing, and general office work •Participate in individual meetings with student-athletes as needed •On and off-campus recruiting of prospective student-athletes •Promote Field Hockey Program through various social media platforms •Oversee study hall •Breakdown and analysis of opponent and team film •Participate in fundraising initiatives and activities •Adhere to NCAA rules and regulations •Maintain professional relationships with student-athletes •Manages Social Media Accounts •Drive campus shuttles Experience and Qualifications: • Applicants must be accepted into and matriculating in a Franklin Pierce University graduate education program • Bachelor's degree is required • Collegiate NCAA Field Hockey experience required This is a 2-year position determined by program of study. Compensation includes a stipend, graduate tuition and supplemental income possibilities with regards to working camps/clinics or coaching with a local club program. |
