Summary
The Regional Director is a key driver in optimizing RNDC's performance across the region, fostering beneficial relationships with customers and suppliers. This role involves close collaboration, effective communication, and proactive management of a select group of suppliers to enhance state-level sales execution. Serving as the primary liaison between Corporate, Region, and State, the Regional Director plays a pivotal role in supporting and influencing the success of our organization. Reporting directly to the Regional President, this position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our company's growth and success.
In this role, you will
- Drives statewide execution and supplier portfolio activation through strategic planning, collaboration, communication, and results-focused P&L ownership.
- Ensures supplier agreement compliance by conducting regular audits and market activity analyses.
- Identifies and resolves process, system, or operational issues, consulting with supply chain, purchasing, and demand planning teams for optimized inventory levels and accurate forecasting models.
- Collaborates with Operations to optimize inventory levels, ensuring supplier goal attainment and effective performance management.
- Plans and facilitates supplier business reviews, market surveys, and blitz coordination to enhance strategic partnerships.
- Leads and implements supplier programs, KPIs, and initiatives, analyzing brands for sales and profit opportunities while identifying and developing high-growth suppliers.
- Manages the onboarding process for new suppliers in the geography and leads the RFP process in coordination with Supplier Excellence VPs and Portfolio Managers.
- Provides state and regional oversight of contract terms, including inventory, investment, performance, and termination clauses, ensuring compliance.
What you bring to RNDC
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university preferred; or
- five or more years related experience, with an alcoholic beverage wholesaler or supplier and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
