Role Overview: As the Resort General Manager, you'll be the driving force behind our top-tier operations. Your role is to embody our brand spirit and champion it in every department. We need your visionary leadership to ensure a seamless blend of excellent service, operational brilliance, and happy guests. Collaborate closely with owners and stakeholders, crafting strategies that elevate guest experiences, optimize operations, and achieve financial success.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Operational Leadership: Take the lead in aligning operations with our standards, turning challenges into growth opportunities.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster teamwork and continuous improvement through regular strategy sessions with department heads.
  • Standards and Compliance: Uphold operational integrity, ensuring adherence to controls, procedures, and policies, championing excellence in guest experiences.
  • Strategic Development: Guide property initiatives like investments, customer service enhancements, and refurbishment projects, aligning them with our strategic vision.
  • Financial Stewardship: Oversee budget development, marketing strategies, and capital investments, driving profitability beyond benchmarks.
  • Leadership and Accountability: Inspire and lead the team, taking ownership of guest feedback and empowering department heads.
  • Innovation and Improvement: Identify and implement measures to save costs and enhance performance, giving us a competitive edge.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience in vacation rentals or hospitality in a Resort comparable in size to Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus for diverse communication.
  • Tech-savvy with exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Deep understanding of hospitality management principles, backed by a proven leadership track record in complex operational environments.


Physical Requirements:
  • Primarily indoor role, occasional outdoor participation required.
  • Flexibility in movement (sitting, walking, standing) and physical tasks, including bending and lifting objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Full sensory capabilities for clear communication, acute hearing, and strong visual acuity.
