Janssen Pharmaceuticals is the PR Sales and Marketing Division for the pharmaceutical products of Johnson and Johnson. As the Professional Sales Representative ( CVM ), you will:
  • Achieve sales goals for assigned territory.
  • Consistently and compliantly apply the LEAD Selling Process: learn, engage, advance and deliver.
  • Effectively apply territory planning by prioritizing time, resources and schedules to achieve execution metrics goals: Field Engagement Attainment (FEA), reach, field time and average calls per day.
  • Develop and compliantly execute territory tactical plan within assigned budget: In-services, speaker programs, conventions and patients' activities and adjust tactics to address competitive threats
  • Consistently use analytic tools to monitor territory performance, identify market trends and provide tailored solutions for effectives customers interactions.
  • Understand territory access dynamics, access programs, and effectively position franchise resources to support customers' needs.
  • Take initiative to increase disease state and products (company's and competitors) knowledge and consistently applies to deliver customer value.
  • Proactively develop and leverage internal collaborative partnerships with cross functional areas with the objective of strengthen territory tactic plan and achieve business goals.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing management in the business planning process and monthly update meetings or based on business needs by generating meaningful field insights and provide ideas to improve product and company performance in the marketplace.
  • Identify strategic stakeholders and develop compliant relations to support the achievement of customers focus outcomes.
  • Gain consistent access to build compliant relationships with strategic stakeholders and influencers; consistently compliantly identify opportunities to generate Medical Information Requests (MIR) to fulfill HCP clinical need.
  • Comply on a timely manner with administrative tasks: expense report, tactical update monthly report, daily synchronization and accurate and compliant call registration in Veeva, territory analysis, out of territory my time registration (sickness, vacations, etc.), monthly company car millage report, generate at your service tickets when needed, revise emails, complete assigned trainings and comply samples accountability process.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required , preferably in a business or scientific field.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry is required .
  • Pharmaceutical and broader healthcare business knowledge is required .
  • Understanding of the access-payers landscape is preferred .
  • Demonstrated track record of producing solid results in a functional group or commercial operations is preferred .
  • Ability to lift, carry, pull and push 1 to 10 pounds constantly and 10 to 25 pounds occasionally is required .
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (oral and written) is required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office systems (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required ; sales management information technology systems (e.g. Veeva) are preferred .
  • A valid Puerto Rico driver's license is required .
  • This is a field-based position and requires up to ten percent (10%) of domestic travel and availability to work extra hours or weekends as needed.
