The WWT Navy and Marine Corps Enterprise team provides mission-aligned outcomes to ensure the customer is identifying the right solutions to solve their technology challenges. As a Strategic Advisor, you will provide thought leadership and strategy for the Navy and Marine Corps Enterprise Team while working with a highly motivated team of sales and engineering professionals who are dedicated to providing mission critical solutions that are secure, at scale, for the Navy and Marine Corps customer.



What will you be doing?



The Strategic Advisor role is to support sales and engineering teams achieve impressive goals by offering World Wide Technology's advanced suite of products and solutions. This individual, in partnership with a talented team of Client Managers, System Engineers Inside Sales Representatives, will build consultative relationships with current and prospective customers while also focusing on expanding WWT's footprint of services capabilities from deployment services to post deployment strategic staffing. This position is a remote position and will require around 50% travel (or as needed).



RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide Naval Enterprise and Shipboard leadership and vision, while being a contributing, inspiring member of the Navy and Marine Corps Enterprise team of resources focused on achieving business/mission outcomes for the Naval Sea Systems Command Strategic Opportunities and Tactical Sales.
  • Develop and grow WWT strategic opportunities and workshare on assigned key programs while managing customer, systems integrators, and partner relationships between the customer, the prime, and WWT.
  • Assist the WWT Naval Enterprise Team in developing appropriate technical and business solutions for the program and promoting the benefits of the solutions to the customer, systems integrators/primes and partners.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and escalate issues to appropriate teams as needed to ensure success for WWT and the customer.
  • Serve as an agent for change and thought leader, communicating WWT's innovation in public-facing forums/venues such as Armed Forces Communications & Electronics Association (AFCEA), National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA), American Society of Naval Engineers (ASNE), and industry days.
  • Lead Executive/Sr. level meetings with customers in key organizations to gain a detailed understanding of their technical and operational needs.
  • Demonstrate WWTs value proposition and differentiation effectively.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of WWT's Digital Platform, Advanced Technology Center, Integration Technology Center and services and solutions to represent the full WWT value proposition to customers.
  • Work cross functionally with WWT teams to ensure smooth transitions from sales to delivery.
  • Foster relationships and collaborate with Subject Matter Experts and Account Teams to define account strategy and deliver the right approach for our Navy and Marine Corps customer.


Requirements:

  • 10+ years Industry experience or equivalent with the Defense Agency Customer.
  • Resides in the DC Metro area with ability to travel as needed.
  • TS Clerance required, with SCI eligibility.
  • Excellent written & oral communication/presentation skills.
  • Proven success in creating business/org/mission outcomes.
  • In depth expertise in multiple technologies/solutions.
