Position Overview/ Position Responsibilities:

Quality at the Source is responsible for implementation and assurance of the quality management system within production to ensure good manufacturing practices are maintained and followed.

What we are looking for:

Required Qualifications:
  • High school education or GED equivalency required.
  • Strong knowledge of control testing methods for product release.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a high performing manufacturing facility.

  • Quality management system and/or auditor experience preferred.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (Science, Business, or equivalent)

What You Will Do:

Quality at the Source is responsible for implementation and assurance of the quality management system within production to ensure good manufacturing practices are maintained and followed.

Key Job Accountabilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the below listing:
  • Conduct audits of the statistical process control quality system and other quality assurance processes in production.
  • Participate in statistical process control PQ inspections.
  • Conduct batch record audits.
  • Review first article inspection for startup of production.
  • Conduct automatic checking device verification audits.
  • Review quality stop and think deviations.
  • Validate component pocket defects.
  • Audit production operating system master data (i.e. statistical inspection set-up, automatic checking device, and line clearance.)
  • Control test bulk, components, and finished goods and components for release.
  • Facilitate quality training for operations.
  • Performs other tasks as needed based on business needs.

Competencies and Behaviors Required:
  • Strong knowledge of the quality manual, quality procedures, and test methods.

  • Good knowledge of ISO, FDA, and GMP requirements.

  • Must have strong verbal and communication skills to interact and influence cross-functionally with teams.
  • Ability to develop goals that meet established objectives and contribute to the overall goals and mission of the company.
  • Must thrive within a changing organization to handle tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of statistical process control to train employees and audit to the standard.
  • Must demonstrate a 100% responsibility and not make excuses or cast blame.
  • Must resolve conflicts directly.
  • Must listen for understanding.
  • Must have a positive attitude.
  • Must be a team player.
