Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Modeling Simulation Engineer to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking motivated & talented Modeling/Simulation Engineers to join the Systems Engineering Team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Boeing Laser and Electro-Optical Systems (LEOS) organization is dynamic and growing with a leadership team focused on attracting and developing top talent in support of critical missions for national defense involving Directed Energy. Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Associate, Experienced and Senior Level Modeling Simulation Engineers. Position overview: Plans, develops and maintains complex analysis and simulation models/tools to evaluate and improve total system architecture and performance. Works to thoroughly address complex defense problems ensuring mission success. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active) This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. (Level 3) Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. (Level 4) Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. Relocation: This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
