Job Summary: About the Role & Program We are the Literary Affairs Department for 20th Century Studios, Searchlight Pictures, and Walt Disney Studios, acting as the studios' eyes and ears in the publishing world. We seek out books both pre- and post-publication as well as other forms of Intelligent Property such as articles, short stories, and podcasts to consider for film adaptation. Our department has helped acquire film rights to literary properties such as HIDDEN FIGURES, GONE GIRL, and THE MARTIAN. If selected for this role, you will report to the Director, Literary Affairs. What You Will Do We are looking for an organized and meticulous intern to aid us in our day-to-day operations. Some of the position's primary tasks will include:
