Harrah's Casino in New Orleans has teamed up with local sports legend Archie Manning at Manning's Sports Bar & Grill. Manning's is a sports themed restaurant open Thursday through Monday, tailored to a game day experience. The sport bar themed menu has everything you need to watch the game!"

The Manning's Supervisor will be responsible for the service operations of the Restaurant and have the ability to build a team that creates a great experience for each guest every time. Other responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Job Summary: The Restaurant FOH Shift Manager creates the extraordinary for our guests and team members with direct oversight of the restaurant operation.

  • Ensuring consistent, high quality service standards are maintained in areas of responsibility.
  • Review staffing levels to determine appropriate work assignments for the staff.
  • Check with Cooks to determine menu changes, substitutions or deletions for the day, and notify staff
  • Investigate and resolve guest complaints or concerns in accordance with standard procedures
  • Develop schedules to reflect staffing levels needed to give optimal guest service
  • Train new employees and update all employees on new procedures or policies
  • Conduct a physical inventory of bar ware and requisition replacement items as needed
  • Coach and counsel all employees when needed to reinforce department and company policy and procedures
  • Maintain a well-informed shift by conducting daily shift meetings
  • Department walkthroughs are done on a daily basis to assure cleanliness and all equipment is operational.
  • Implementing training programs that ensure high quality service.
  • Maintaining proper employee/employer relations.
  • Maintain working knowledge of present and future sports schedules to set, adjust, and plan for both TV schedule and guest attendance."


Other Qualifications

  • Associates degree preferred
  • 1 - 2 years food and beverage supervisory experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, leadership, communication, team building and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability in maintaining consistent, high quality guest service skills.
  • Good understanding of how his/her job responsibilities relate to other areas of operation.
  • Willingness to work any shift, any day, when necessary.
  • Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations; can lift and carry upwards of 50 lbs
  • Bend, jump, twist, crouch, grip and carry heavy loads
  • Ability to stand for up to 10 hours, and walk up and down stairs.
  • Respond to visual and aural cues
  • Operate in mentally and physically stressful situations.
