Job Location San José Job Description Brazil Indirect Tax Invoices Troubleshooting owner is responsible to review, analyze and solve all fiscal notes that are sent to review by Accounts Payable team into an SLA (0-3 days). The analysis includes reviewing tax drivers in purchase orders, analyzing the vendor master data or generating tickets for rule creation or rule assignment. This position has direct relationship with Plant contacts, Accounts Payable contacts, Tax compliance experts and other teams that are related to the tracking and posting of invoices. This person is also responsible to provide volumetrics of un-postable invoices besides resolve root causes in order to reduce the repetitive cases in a proactive way , lead Root causes analysis and action plan implementation for bigger process issues impacting Taxes. Also, as a part of his/her role this position includes generation of VAT txt (as a part of support to VAT team and analysis of SATI (Brazil Government webpage) vs SAP differences. In addition, this person will play a key role on proactive improvements of TCO Tax matrix document. Job Qualifications Operates with discipline and ability to work under pressure. Background information that would be helpful: - Understanding of Tax decision tree (TDT) and tax law of Brazil, Tax accounting structure Tax and accounting knowledge (Intermediate) and general tax concepts required. Intermediate communication in English/ Portugues (Oral & Written). Excel (Intermediate) and ideal SAP knowledge. Business Process Excellence.
