This role provides basic support to the Zoological team as it relates to food preparation, Diet related records, and Feed inventory/ordering. Job Responsibilities: Accurately prepare diets for animal collection Process fruits and vegetables Handle meat, fish, rodents, invertebrates and other food items Wash and sanitize containers, surfaces and equipment Safely use kitchen utensils and appliances Determine measurements of weight and volume Keep storage and prep areas clean and orderly Assist with physical inventory and ordering Moderate to heavy lifting of supplies and equipment multiple times per day The Nutrition Center hours are from 6 am until 2:30 pm, 7 days per week. The selected applicant will be scheduled during these hours of operation Requirements and Competencies: At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent Prior experience working with animals preferred Ability to pass SeaWorld pre-employment swim test Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a company driver's license Strong English communication skills Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
