Job Summary:

Disney Signature Experiences champions new business development projects and growth initiatives, diversifying the Disney Experiences portfolio. Storyliving by Disney™ was launched in 2022. Cotino™, a Storyliving by Disney™ community is the first that was announced and is being built in the heart of the Greater Palm Springs. Asteria™, a Storyliving by Disney™ community, is the second within the portfolio, being built in North Carolina. We look forward to watching our new business grow as new sites come online.

This role is a critical project management and integration role within the Storyliving by Disney portfolio. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to provide dedicated project management support to one or more specific sites and identifying, tracking, documenting and reporting on the key milestones and deadlines associated with that location from announcement through design, delivery and beyond.

You will also act as the primary point of integration across all levels and groups (internal & external) to support the development and launch of our communities. In this role you will ensure transparency of goals, deadlines, budgets, and compliance requirements. You will be a strategic partner to the Storyliving by Disney™ team, as well as key external partners, to proactively assess needs, build relevant reporting tools, establish connections and assist with developing solutions when gaps and/or efficiency opportunities are identified.

You will:
  • Provide comprehensive project management and integration support across Storyliving by Disney site(s) by proactively identifying site priorities, dependencies, and delivery implications for internal and external partners and Senior Executive Leadership.
  • Champion development of, and drive ongoing compliance with, critical legal and business documentation including annual Business Plan updating
  • Accountable for crafting, tracking and reporting progress on key deliverables and milestones across all discplines through effective, consolidated reports and dashboards; elevate to Senior Executive Leadership, Disney Signature Experience President, and Walt Disney Company Senior Leadership as needed.
  • Continually reevaluate and develop tools and processes driving transparency and efficiency across multiple sites and teams to ensure consistency for Leaders
  • Drive and lead ongoing teamwork and decision forums -- including agenda management and prioritization, documentation, and follow up on deliverable commitments
  • Oversee core Storyliving by Disney™ strategies, initiatives and timelines critical to the delivery of Site commitments and goals. Identify gaps and provide thought partnership with appropriate teams to address them
  • Partner with external teams to orchestrate offsite meetings, facilitate and present content and drive teamwork internally and externally
  • Influence and/or advise internal and external partners and senior executives to drive and deliver against key priorities and deliverables
  • Cultivate close partnerships within Emerging Businesses and across the Disney ecosystem including Legal, Global Business Development, Walt Disney Imagineering, CIMA, Corporate Alliances, Alliance Management, Technology, and Finance
  • Navigate ambiguity with grace, communicating current state understanding of priorities and deliverables, while assisting with shifting leaders and the organization when deliverables and information changes; provide support and assist with ad hoc projects as needed
  • Build and update business Onboarding documents and process in partnership with HR
  • Develop, build and update content for internal and public-facing key business presentations
  • Champion a culture of excellence, collaboration, diversity, and innovation through active Cast Engagement


You will have:
  • A minimum of 7 years' demonstrated ability in project management, business development, product strategy, integration, production, product management, or equivalent roles
  • Desire to work within a new, developing business. Ability to work independently and effectively in a flexible, dynamic, environment.
  • Excellent project management skills, including ability to complete and prioritize a number of tasks simultaneously, and experience running cross-functional team
  • Experience with Smartsheet or comparable project/work management tool
  • Creative, outside of the box thinking to help teams build and maintain tools that drive their success
  • Ability to review and manage detailed business agreements and project budgets
  • Politically savvy, relationship driven, and effective team builder and creative problem solver
  • Ability to understand sophisticated organizations, the inter-relationships of functions, and can effectively navigate through the broader organization
  • Ability to facilitate, collaborate, consult, and influence at all levels of the organization, work through sophisticated issues with a strong sense of responsibility and creative thinking
  • Proficient in viewing the big picture while also being very detailed
  • Proven presentation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to persuade and empower people across a broad variety of job functions - both internal and external - through your relationships.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask without losing sight of the highest priorities
  • Demonstrates critical thinking skills and is committed to continuous improvement; seeks and act on feedback


Required Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Communications, Psychology, Sociology, Business, Marketing or other related fields of study


Preferred Education:
  • Master's Degree in related field of study
