General Summary of the Job:

Siemens Digital Industries Software is looking for a highly skilled Senior Competitive Strategist to join our growing and fast paced Strategy organization.

In this role you will provide competitive insights and enablement through an in-depth understanding of our competitive and market ecosystem. You will be an advisor on trends and competitive movements including how they impact Siemens strategy.

This role has a high level of visibility across the organization and will regularly include preparing and presenting competitive insights with specific recommendations to all levels of management including the executive level.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide strong point of view backed by data on how market position and competitive moves impacts Siemens strategy.
  • Provide insights into how we compete and succeed in the current competitive and market environment.
  • Detail strategic implications and growth opportunities to the business through analysis of the market and competitor ecosystem including latest macro trends and emerging technologies.
  • Have an outside in understanding on market dynamics.
  • Drive and measure defined actions that move the culture of Competitive Intelligence ahead for the company.

Skills and Abilities Required:
  • Solid understanding of software including business models, deployment models, technology trends
  • Understanding of the PLM and/or EDA software product offerings and related markets
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills including in emails, competitive assets, presentations, etc.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with problem-solving aptitude
  • Clockspeed - the market moves fast and the intelligence function needs to move with it

Education and Experience Requirement:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Business or related quantitative subject area
  • Minimum 8 years related experience

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

• Limited travel may be required

Siemens Software. Transform the Everyday

The salary range for this position is $120,800 to $217,400 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training. In addition, this position is eligible for time off in accordance with Company policies, including paid sick leave, paid parental leave, PTO (for non-exempt employees) or non-accrued flexible vacation (for exempt employees).
