Boeing Aerostructures Australia is Australia's leading designer and manufacturer of composite flight control components for commercial aircraft. An opportunity exists for a Laboratory Scientist (Chemistry, Microscopy) to join the Boeing Research & Technology Australia (BR&TA) team based in Port Melbourne on a full-time permanent basis. The successful applicant is required to perform this role onsite in a full-time capacity. This fantastic development opportunity exists to work in the BAA Engineering, reporting to the Boeing Research and Technology Australia (BR&TA) Operations & Laboratory Manager in Melbourne. Position Responsibilities: Working under general supervision, within a laboratory team, you will be involved in coordinating & performing Material Acceptance testing in various technical fields involving both Chemical & Mechanical tests, conducting microscopy work and using technical knowledge on different types of test equipment, within the Laboratory.
