Package Description Vacancy Ref: 15083 Band: B Contract type: 1 fixed term contract/attachment to end 31st March 2025 Location: Office base is Cardiff. This is a hybrid role and the successful candidate will balance office with home working. Working days are Monday to Friday and days for part-time roles will be chosen based on production needs Salary: £25,609 - £35,961 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights. NB: Whilst this role is based in Cardiff, we are also advertising two other fixed term contracts/attachments within the hub, with our teams in Bristol. The creation of BBC Audio Wales and the West of England as a new hub within BBC Audio, has seen radio production teams in Cardiff and Bristol lead the way with a variety of programmes and podcasts. Our areas of production include;- science, current affairs, factual, rural affairs, food, documentaries, books, arts, music and drama. The BBC Audio Science department within this hub, are in a position to appoint a Production Co-ordinator on a Fixed Term Contract or attachment to work with our team based in Central Square, Cardiff. If successful, you'll be part of a team of PCs working on programmes such as Inside Health, All in the Mind, Crowd Science and Unexpected Elements. The right person will be an excellent organiser and team player. You'll have a good knowledge of Audio, superb administrative and business skills and an interest in Radio 4 and World Service programmes.
