What You Will Do:

The Senior Manager Store Digital Education and Development is responsible for the development and execution of SalonCentric Store, Street and E-commerce digital education offerings specific to PPD Brands. These programs include, but are not limited to, complimentary digital education, paid digital education programs, live studio streaming education events, and digital certification for all PPD Brands.

The Senior Manager is responsible for collaborating with the PPD Store Education, Sales, Learning & Development and Business Development teams, PPD Brand Education, Training, Marketing and CRM Teams, as well as SalonCentric Education and Brand Development to ensure the appropriate programs are created and executed to properly support PPD and SalonCentric business as well as our stylist community. The Senior Manager will work closely with the partners mentioned above to ensure the Brand and SalonCentric initiatives are represented through digital education. The Senior Manager is responsible for supporting the strategy for assigned Brand digital education events and experiences, including overseeing the planning and execution of these activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Development of SalonCentric in-store Digital screen education strategy, events, and social activations for assigned PPD Brands
  • Development of SalonCentric Complimentary Digital education strategy, events, and social activations for assigned PPD Brands
  • Collaborates with cross functional PPD partners to understand Brand launches / initiatives to ensure effective placement of Digital class offerings resulting in achieved sales goals
  • Manages Brand Digital education logistics and execution for both PPD and SalonCentric
  • Partners with Brand Education and Training teams to ensure PPD class portfolio aligns with SalonCentric customer segment and promotional focus
  • Partners with SalonCentric Education to ensure strategic placement of Digital Screen classes across the nation resulting in maximum engagement
  • Partners with the Omni PPD Sales and Education teams as well as at SalonCentric to help promote and sell out Digital Screen classes
  • Management of opt in customer data for assigned Brands and report out to Director
  • Management and execution of education dashboard to provide monthly digital education reporting to Director
  • Management of Digital Store Education fuel budget by Brand, monthly fuel reconciliation in partnership with Director
  • Manages PO, PRF requests, and Randstad budgets
  • Manages PPD Omni Digital Education event flyer, communications, promotions and incentives
  • Manages Digital Education Communication, Support Materials & Resources to Brand contracted Artists
  • Analyze SalonCentric Education monthly reporting with recommendations and calls to action; provides debrief of all activities and ROI to SalonCentric and Brand key partners
  • Participate in all Corporate Calendar activity as directed
  • Attend Store specific Brand and SalonCentric Meetings as directed


Influence and Reach
  • 25+ direct business partners across PPD and SalonCentric
  • Business partners: Sr. Managers, Directors, AVP's
  • Responsible to produce 150++ education events per year
  • Responsible to produce 2,000+ stylists reached through Digital Education per year
  • Internal SalonCentric reach: 4,400 employees nationally
  • External Stylist reach: 2,000+ and growing through e-comm


Competencies:

Required Qualifications:
  • An undergraduate degree or commensurate professional experience is required
  • 5+ years of experience leading, managing, training and motivating teams and high volume of business with diverse skill sets in a remote setting with a demonstrated ability to communicate vision and execute strategy
  • Experience in education within a big box retail and/or chain model, preferably with beauty, professional salon products or retail background.
  • Create a work environment which is open, honest, collaborative and accountable through clear, consistent communication that is inclusive and influences teams and partners. Values the differences and similarities of people. Promotes a spirit of cooperation and shared responsibility by emphasizing that the efforts of work groups must be aligned with common goals to achieve desired results.

  • Works collaboratively with both internal and external clients. Treating them with respect, anticipating their needs, and providing solutions when needed. Establishes and builds trust across business functions, levels and departments to facilitate achievement of shared goals.
  • Ability and interest in extensive travel (up to 35%) and work weekends as needed
  • Proficient in applications including Power Point, Excel, Word, Power BI, and Salesforce


Experience:

  • 5 years' experience in Professional Beauty Industry
  • 3-5 years of event planning, education administration and/or related experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications including Power-Point, Excel, and Word (required) and SalesForce.com (preferred)
  • Bachelor's Degree preferable
  • Cosmetology license preferred, but not required
