The LIMS Settlement team is dynamic and well-respected. Our team is responsible for processing weekly settlements to pay our logging and haul contractors. This is a very fast-paced department, where accuracy and quick turn-around time is required as well as heavy, repetitive data entry. In this role , your essential functions will include but not limited to:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for processing contracts and/or related accounts payable and accounts receivable activity such as daily deposits and accounts receivable/cash application for 3 rd party sales for the Timberlands business segment in the Log Inventory Management System (LIMS).
  • Processing Deposit from Bank on daily basis.
  • Excellent research and problem-solving skills are a must to solve exceptions and customer variances and past due accounts.
  • Will participate in the development of written processes.
  • You will work closely with the Region Harvesting and Transportation, Marketing, Credit Manager, Inventory and Planning and Procurement teams, administrative assistants, as well as loggers, haulers, and both internal and external customers.
  • Must be able to manage heavy volumes of emails and phone calls from internal and external customers.
  • The ability to multi-task is an absolute must.
  • Identify areas of opportunity to drive process efficiencies and work active initiatives.
  • Work with customers (internal and external) to understand requirements and quickly resolve issues as they surface.
  • Customer check application and process variance adjustments.
  • Update/create and translation of sale check files.
  • Routinely use Microsoft Office applications, SAP, LIMS, OnBase, and other PC tools to accomplish your work.
  • Identify and help to implement process improvements to continually operate more efficiently.
  • Support audit requirements, including internal and external audits.
  • Must adhere to team procedures, comply with company policy, standards, and guidelines, and stay up to date on company changes.
  • All other tasks as deemed necessary for the success of the team.


Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma (or equivalent). Minimum of two years accounts receivable or equivalent experience. Strong communication skills (listening, written, verbal and presenting).

Experience : Prefer the following: general accounts receivable and accounts payable knowledge; relevant office experience; knowledge of Timberlands and/or Wood Products business; knowledge of LIMS or SAP a plus; ten-key proficiency.

Teamwork : Highly motivated self-starter who performs well in a team environment, providing a high degree of customer service. Supports others without being asked for help; solid team player; able to flow to work; knows how to win together.

Systems : Excellent computer skills with expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications required; skills with SAP/LIMS preferred.

Analytics & Problem Solving: Demonstrates analysis and critical thinking/reasoning skills. Attention to detail and an ability to focus on the big picture. Adept at using sound reasoning to reach conclusions. Offers meaningful recommendations that address the root cause rather than symptoms.

Interpersonal Skills & Ethics: Demonstrates integrity and strong ethical behavior. Builds trust with others through personal authenticity and follow-through on commitments. Actively listens and builds rapport with others. Open and collegial work style with ability to listen and integrate ideas from diverse views and collaborate with others. Excellent attendance.

Time management skills: Ability to provide quick turn-around time and prioritize workload to meeting required daily and weekly deadlines. Able to handle multiple priorities and takes pride in accuracy and quality of work. Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Judgement: Demonstrates professional judgement to operate in gray areas and provide recommendations as needed.

Client Service: Customer-service oriented and track record of positive feedback and demonstrated ability to provide excellent service to stakeholders.

What We Offer:

Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $44,600- $67,000 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 5% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

Retirement: Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan, which includes a paid company match in addition to our annual contribution equal to 5% of your base salary.

Paid Time Off or Vacation: We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with paid vacation for up to 3 weeks to use during your first year of employment. In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 hours along with paid parental leave for all full time employees.
