The Amazon Inclusive eXperiences and Technology (IXT) Organization is seeking a talented results-driven leader to lead a global team who will support strategy, planning and programme management of critical projects to drive the acceleration of global inclusive experiences.

The individual will be responsible for:
- Our strategy around implementation of consistent standards, processes, documentation and reporting for global processes, and scoping the use of technology in scaling these for future success.
- Rhythm of business and reporting mechanisms to ensure our timely delivery of goal, goal updates and project reports.
- Long range strategic planning processes (3YP, OP1/2) and documentation
- Change Management strategies and processes to support global goal implementation and adoption

The ideal candidate will be an analytical leader with Project Management experience in complex, global, regulatory environments. The individual needs strong communication skills, the experience to influence (both up and across), and support cross-functional stakeholder groups across all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate takes initiative and demonstrates ownership in driving business goals, while being agile to manage change. This role reports into the Director, International Experience.

This role is flexible to be based in a variety of corporate locations worldwide, with a preference for London or Sydney.

Key job responsibilities
- Lead the long-range and operating planning processes, aligned with the established Amazon planning cycles globally, in partnership with the global IXT Strategy and Business Operations team.
- Lead critical reporting and review mechanisms to assess progress on operating plans, goals and key programs & projects.
- Lead regular mechanisms to ensure consistent delivery on goals, risk identified and mitigated, timely resolutions of issues with timely escalation.
- Own the planning and delivery of selected strategic projects from concept to launch - focused on cross functional & global strategic projects.
- Build relationships with program and business line leads and project stakeholders
- Develop and implement unified tools, and information systems to support project and org planning, execution, reporting, and budget and people decision-making.
- Ensure project management standards are followed, project plans, reports and documentation are relevant, accurate and complete
- Provide information for budgeting, resource planning and allocations, including adjustments based on emerging opportunities and challenges
- Monitor and report on the project portfolio including significant milestones, risks and learnings.

A day in the life

London, GBR

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- • Bachelor's degree
- • 7+ years of team management experience
- • Experience delivering programs for large, cross-functional, global teams, using data and metrics to provide insights and drive improvements
- • Experience building and effectively executing a strategy from the ground up, including design of roadmaps to drive incremental progress towards long-term vision and goals

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and drive them to completion
- • Ability to motivate, influence and optimize senior leadership, stakeholders and peer groups without direct authority, resolving issues and overcoming hurdles to results
- • Executive level written and oral communication skills, advanced interpersonal and group facilitation skills
