Who are we?

Established in September 1993, Siemens Switchgear Ltd., Shanghai (SSLS) was jointly invested by Siemens AG and Shanghai Electric Company and is now subordinate to the leadership of Siemens SI EA business unit.

SSLS is located in Minhang Economic and Technological Development Zone, covering an area of 5 hectares. It is committed to the design, production, sales, and after-sales service of 6-40.5kV medium voltage air insulated switchgears. Siemens Switchgear Ltd., Shanghai has nearly 500 employees and produces over 38000 vacuum circuit breakers and 12000 medium voltage switchgears annually. The medium voltage switch products produced here have been widely used in industrial fields such as power supply, oil and gas, ships, automobiles, metallurgy and mining, electronics and electrical engineering in China, as well as in infrastructure fields such as airports, hospitals, buildings, data centers, and transportation.

You'll make an impact by

Provide administrative support to General Management Office (GMO) including:
  • Manage the GMs' appointments and schedules and make travel arrangements to make best use of their time.
  • Gather, compile, verify and analyze information for the GMs to use in the documents such as memos, letters, reports, speeches, presentations, and news releases.
  • Efficient administration of daily work in GMO, e.g. GMs' signature management, company chop management, GMO office admin., visitor reception, written/verbal translation, etc.
  • Understand and comply to all policies, regulations, and guidelines of SSLS. Handle confidential information and maintain the security of the GMs' records and files.
  • Plan, organize and schedule own workload so that the following activities are completed accurately and on time.

- preparing company level circular / announcement.

- preparing documents and presentation materials.

- screening and responding to incoming correspondence, inquires, and phone calls.

- drafting letters and official information releases.

- arranging and attending meetings, taking and distributing minutes; etc.
  • Facilitate smooth communications between GMO and all internal / external parties. Support GMO in internal communication (e.g. company town-hall meeting, company letter box, company newsletter, company intranet and etc.)
  • Coordination of important company projects / events.

Assist in other functional tasks:
  • Support commercial order execution team in project tasks.
  • Support controlling team in daily tasks.

Your defining qualities
  • Above 2 years working experience in Assistant / Administration management.
  • Bachelor's degree or above, major in English/Business is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal & networking skills; Initiative & Result Orientation.
  • Fluency in both spoken English and written English.
  • Skillful usage of MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Outlook. experienced in data analysis (e.g. Power BI) is preferred.
  • General understanding of Siemens Products and Markets, knowledge of MV products will be value added.
  • Team player, good communication and interpersonal skills
