Teaching responsibilities to include teaching a minimum of two activity course and assistantship responsibilities as designated by the Graduate Coordinator. The primary responsibility of the graduate assistant is to provide full support of the program to which the individual is assigned. This includes helping organize daily practices with coaches; using Data Project to break down films; have meetings with individual players to watch film; create scouting reports for upcoming games; upload video to video exchange; help student manager find food on away trips; in charge of all videoing of games and practices. This position will support the HSW and athletics department programs as assigned. Essential Functions: Position coach as assigned by the head coach. All Volleyball-related duties as assigned by the Head Coach. Athletic teaching assistants will teach at least two activity course per trimester. Graduate Students that are responsible for driving certain university vehicles must complete the university driver training program. Position may require working with sports camps as needed. Develop, coordinate, and support all aspects of the HSW and athletics department programs as assigned. Enforce policies and procedures. Conduct research as assigned. Assist with emergency situations.
