Boeing Global Services (BGS) Engineering is seeking a Support Logistics Systems Specialist to join our BGS Engineering Systems & Tools team as a team member of the VECTOR Core Team. Knowledge of the VECTOR application and an understanding of existing platforms currently leveraging the tool is a plus. The applicant should have a broad understanding of export licensing, policies and export reform efforts. Requirements management and oversight of team processes, budget requirements and scheduling documentation and reporting is a must. One of the major tasks of the VECTOR functional team member is translating customer needs into clear requirements for the IT developers, thus facilitating the completed end product. Applicant should have experience with high level customer engagement, to include demonstrating software and providing training to medium-large size audiences. Applicant must have strong communication and presentations skills; be able to show evidence of good customer relationships along with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide variety of customers. The ability to work independently and travel if necessary is required. This position requires maintaining an accessible presence amongst the tool users and interacting with these users. Some specific duties will include remaining current on evolving Defense and Commercial Services' processes and user groups; participating in supporting the application and deployment activities including requirements documentation, and process analysis for automation; training of personnel for use of the application; serve as lead focal for all program specific Change Requests and participate in Change Board activities as needed. This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. Typical Education/ Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.) Relocation: Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
