Summary This is an hourly position as a research assistant. The research assistant will assist Social Science faculty with a research project. The research assistant should be familiar with: Academic scholarship and historical sources; Library/database research; Communicating with research team members; Analysis of primary sources; Detroit, African American, and/or U.S. women?s history. Required Qualifications* Must be a current student; Curiosity and creative thinking skills; Self-motivation and being able to take initiative; Comfortable working independently Familiarity with Google Drive collaborative tools. Desired Qualifications* Previous experience with research projects and/or historical research methods.
