Job Summary: Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort is searching for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to serve as our Night Auditor. In this full-time, onsite position, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our resort during overnight hours. The role requires the ability to work independently and manage various responsibilities related to front desk operations and financial transactions. This is a full-time onsite only position. Hours: 11:00pm-7:00am.

Responsibilities:
  1. Front Desk Operations:
    • Perform check-in and check-out procedures for guests arriving or departing during the night shift.
    • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, addressing inquiries, and resolving any issues that may arise.
    • Maintain a welcoming and professional demeanor when assisting guests.
  2. Financial Transactions:
    • Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
    • Balance and reconcile daily financial reports, including room charges, cash transactions, and credit card payments.
    • Prepare and distribute reports summarizing daily financial activities.
  3. Security and Safety:
    • Monitor security cameras and conduct regular property patrols to ensure the safety and security of guests and facilities.
    • Respond to any security-related incidents and take appropriate action as needed.
    • Adhere to safety protocols and report any safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  4. Guest Services:
    • Assist guests with requests or concerns during the night, providing information about the resort and local area.
    • Handle reservations and inquiries, ensuring accurate and timely communication.


  1. Administrative Tasks:
    • Complete administrative duties, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and cooperation.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with hotel management software and basic accounting principles.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity for computer and cash handling tasks.
  • Visual acuity to monitor security cameras effectively.
  • Ability to traverse the resort property for security patrols.
