Boeing Brazil Engineering is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer, reporting directly to the Systems Engineering Manager for Integrated Simulation and Modeling & Systems Engineering Tools of Boeing Brazil, São Jose dos Campos site. This team of Systems Engineers will lead the foundations of revolutionizing airplane development at Boeing. The Systems Engineering team will work on Product Development in several different programs.

Position Responsibilities:

• Lead Systems Engineering activities to develop Aircraft Systems for several different program.
• Collaborate across the company to gather, integrate and deploy engineering standards, precedence networks, decision making criteria and Program Management foundations.
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners.
• Drive continual improvement in solutions sets to Development and Derivative Programs
• Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Must have existing rights to work in Brazil
• Must have a Bachelor Degree in engineering
• Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA)
• Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language
• Able to travel both domestically and internationally
• In depth experience in Systems development
• In depth coding experience (at least one coding programming language, as C, C++, Python, Java, Labview, etc.)
• In depth experience with Model-based design (modeling and simulation using Matlab/Simulink).

Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):

• Experience applying Systems Engineering principals and Systems Integration in the Aerospace
• Model Based Systems Engineering and Model Based Engineering application and toolsets (such as MATLAB/ Simulink, SCADE, Cameo, Rhapsody, etc.)
• Experience with Virtual System Integration, Lab Development, Software-in-the-loop, Hardware-in-the-loop, Data Acquisition Systems (development, integration and troubleshooting)
• Experience with networking protocols
• Familiarity with ARP-4754, ARP-4761, DO-178B/C
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Experience with System Test Engineering

Relocation:

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

This requisition is for a locally hired position in Brazil. Candidates must have current legal authorization to live and work in Brazil. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.
