BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - Experience programming with at least one software programming language DESCRIPTION Do you want to work on the most innovative and exciting advertising ecosystem in the world? We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join our team in Support Products & Services. We build software services for Amazon Support Associates that enable them to troubleshoot, diagnose & optimize Advertiser campaigns. In addition, we own Contact Us, the support portal that Advertisers use for Expert Advice across Chat, Phone and Email channels. As a member of our team you will have an opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from developing new features to optimizing existing ones. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing and maintaining software that is critical to the success of millions of Amazon advertising customers! Tech: - Java - APIs - DynamoDB - React frontend - AWS Infrastructure (EC2, SQS, S3, Lambda, Amazon Connect, ECS, Fargate, API Gateway, etc) Key job responsibilities - Design, develop, test and deploy scalable software solutions to support our Advertising customers. - Build and support backend Java services with some occasional front end Javascript/React components. - Deliver APIs and event streaming solutions - Manage and deploy infrastructure on AWS (Lambdas, Step Functions, EC2, etc) - Produce technical design docs - Partner closely with Product Managers & Stakeholders to iterate on our products - Debug and troubleshooting issues with our software and systems - Participate in code reviews to ensure the quality and maintainability of our codebase - Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in software development - Own what you build!
