JOB SUMMARY:

Wedding Coordinator- A detail orientated position that focuses on the sales, planning, and execution of weddings for multiple venues including: The LINQ & High Roller, Flamingo, Paris and Planet Hollywood. Upholds strong standards of service, adaptable to change, knowledge of modern weddings business, detail orientated, methodical and sales driven.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Handles all wedding inquiries and leads daily for five properties and multiple venues.
  • Has the ability to meet with clients via zoom, phone, email or in person for tours and meetings.
  • Assists couples in finding the best venue to meet their needs and budget.
  • Has a great deal of knowledge of the wedding business and its current trends along with the aptitude to change and adapt to trends and offerings.
  • Exhibits the skill to expertly suggest enhancement items that can be added to a wedding and has a strong ability to cross sell other departments for example salon and spa services.
  • Prepares all paperwork required in the coordination of a wedding including all weddings and garden party contracts via sales force.
  • Establish and maintains records on each wedding. Follows-up on a regular basis to ensure all arrangements have been specified and made in preparation for the wedding day.
  • Finalized all wedding files 30 days prior to wedding date
  • Takes all payments for wedding contracts and bookkeeping records for all payments.
  • Establishes a relationship with clients and becomes the main point of contact for the chapel.
  • Organizes and conducts pre-function meetings between clients, vendors and hotel departments.
  • Check in floral and f&b orders daily ensuring accuracy and quality and sending back anything that is unacceptable to be redone by the florist or chefs.
  • Keep Chapel stocked with supplies, brochures, and forms as needed
  • Ensure chapel is clean, organized, sanitized and ready to go before each wedding
  • Coordinates all activities on the day of the wedding to include preparation of dressing room, ensuring delivery of flowers, set-up of chapel, assisting the bride and/or groom with dressing in preparation for wedding, greeting and seating of guests, and directs wedding processional
  • Assists in the coordination of weddings performed at the other non-traditional locations on property.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2 years prior experience in wedding planning, sales, catering or hotel operations
  • Strong sales skills with effective communication in English, both verbal and written form in a professional manner. Bi-lingual preferred.
  • Work requires advanced knowledge of computer programs including: Sales Force, adobe, Word, Excel, Windows, LMS.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Must present a neat and professional appearance.
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma.
  • Higher education experience preferred
