This job is open to Clarification from the agency Duties This position serves as a Branch Chief in the Comptroller Division of the United states Coast Guard (USCG) Finance Center (FINCEN). The position has responsibility for supervising and ensuring the accuracy and timely processing and reporting of various types of accounting transactions and events occurring over the course of the accounting cycle associated with activities such as commercial and member payments; receivables and collections, including intra-governmental payments and collections; property, plant and equipment; cash reconciliations; and financial statement preparation in accordance with federal regulations, standards, policies and procedures on behalf of the USCG and other federal customer agencies. Requirements Conditions of Employment

Qualifications Basic Requirements At the GS-14 level: Applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the federal service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
