Ski Patroller

Full-time seasonal positions. Must have completion of the Ski Patrol Trail Crew Worker Training Plan or one season as a Ski Patroller at another ski area with an avalanche hazard reduction program. Must demonstrate proficiency as an advanced skier and ability to navigate all terrain at Eaglecrest regardless of conditions.

Responsibilities include:

• This position functions primarily as a “team member” on avalanche hazard reduction missions and has been trained to initiate controlled explosions to reduce avalanche risks.
• You will administer emergency medical care, extricate, and transport injured guests, and assist higher-level team members with more advanced injuries or rescues.
• You will practice and follow safety protocols for all ski patrol duties such as toboggan handling, avalanche hazard reduction including safe explosive handling and deployment procedures, lift evacuation, high/low angle rescue, and search and rescue missions.

Pay range for this position is $17.57 – $18.93 hourly DOE and includes Employee Perks.
