Key Responsibilities:
  • Executes and monitors manufacturing processes according to operational procedures. Prioritizes based on production schedule.
  • Coordinates and leads day-to-day activities in the production manufacturing area as vital, in alignment with immediate or direct supervision.
  • Monitors assigned areas and reallocates resources as necessary to meet schedule requirements within the department.
  • Demonstrates leadership skills to build a team-based, non-threatening environment that promotes teamwork and open exchanges of ideas.
  • Become skilled in using and inspiring others on factory information systems.
  • Ensures compliance with all Federal, State, local, and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications

Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED required. An Associates Degree is helpful.

Experience and Skills:

Required:
  • A minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience directly required.
  • Basic Computer and database leadership skills.
  • Must have mechanical skills and provide documentation of these skills and experience, upon request.
  • Solid understanding of basic hand tools (i.e. screwdrivers, wrenches, snips, cutters) and inspection equipment (i.e. optical comparators, micrometers, microscopes, plug gauges).
  • Working knowledge of shop math such as decimals, fractions, and tolerances.

Other:
  • Requires ability and flexibility to work operational hours of 01:30 PM to 10:00 PM Monday-Friday, plus time for communication and overtime as appropriate.
  • Able to read, understand, explain, and measure performance concerning process and quality documents.
  • Work in a team environment behaving in a CREDO-based supportive manner.
  • Align with all federally supervised programs.
  • Adhere to J&J environmental and safety policies and guidelines.
  • Follow all job-specific safety procedures and apply PPE when vital.
