Summary To assist surgical team during operative procedures by preparing sterile equipment for the operation, and in addition passing instruments, sponges and sutures to the operating team. Required Qualifications* Surgical Technologist Senior requirements: High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary. Completion of an accredited or military Surgical Technologist program is required. Experience in the Operating Room O.R. setting performing scrub duties in multi-surgical specialties. Minimum of 3 years of recent O.R. experience is required for placement at the Senior level. Two years' experience as a Surgical Technologist is required. Demonstrated interpersonal skills with ability to work as a team member. Ability to meet functional job requirements. Demonstrated excellence in professional communication. Recent prior experience in scrubbing complex orthopedic cases. Surgical Technologist Intermediate requirements: High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary. Completion of an accredited or military Surgical Technologist program is required. Experience in the Operating Room O.R. setting performing scrub duties in multi-surgical specialties. Demonstrated interpersonal skills with ability to work as a team member. Ability to meet functional job requirements. Demonstrated excellence in professional communication. Recent prior experience in scrubbing complex orthopedic cases. Desired Qualifications* Ambulatory surgery experience. Ability to scrub Orthopedic Sports Medicine. Adult Otolaryngology. Plastic, General, Urology, and Gynecological Surgery and VASCULAR. Self motivated and excellent organization skills. Completion of a Surgical Technologist certification program. Work Schedule This is for 1 position, 30 hours a week/ 10 hours, variable start time with Saturday Rotation. Underfill Statement This position may be underfilled at a lower classification depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
