We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for you to take your software engineering career to the next level. As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Investment Banking Securities Services, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives. Job responsibilities Develop new user-facing features Build reusable code and libraries for future use Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end services Develop ADA compliant applications Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills Hands-on practical experiencewith JavaScript; strong knowledge of its quirks and workarounds Hands-on practical experience of web markup, including HTML and CSS Strong understanding of ReactJS and NodeJS Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates and promises Good understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around such issues Good understanding of unit testing frameworks such as Jest Familiarity with front-end build tools such as Webpack Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git Good understanding of browser rendering and performance Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Familiarity with modern front-end technologies Exposure to cloud technologies About us J.P.
