Let's get into the details:

Senior SEM Operations Specialist owns/coordinates at 2-3 SEM projects related to program and product development and works in close cooperation with analytics/engineering/3rd party teams. Senior SEM Operations Specialist supervises and is responsible for performance of 1-2 channel programs and executes campaign creation/management activities across all of Groupon's online marketing channels and platforms.

This position requires attention to details, passion for operational excellence, project management skills, solid verbal & written communication skills and ability to multitask while working to tight deadlines.

You'll spend your time on the following :

  • Owns/coordinates 2-3 projects related to program & product development that require regular & close cooperation with analytics/engineering/3rd party teams/other stakeholders;
  • Supervises 1-2 SEM programs & is responsible for their results;
  • Proactively looks for improvements and suggests ideas to test;
  • Provides tactical/operational support to team members;
  • Creates weekly/monthly reporting;
  • Keeps track of the latest Google trends, solutions and products;
  • Obtains relevant Google Ads certifications;
  • Other duties as assigned.


We're excited about you if you have :

  • 2+ years of experience in digital marketing (preferably in paid channels);
  • Excellent understanding of digital serving concepts (ROI, ROAS, CPA etc.) and bid management backed by hands-on experience;
  • Oral and written language skills in English (C1);
  • Proven track of successful project management;
  • Solid understanding of consumer trends, technical curiosity & a thirst for knowledge of Online Marketing;
  • Strong technical skills in MS Office and G Suite, especially in Excel;
  • Good understanding of Google Ads/Microsoft Ads, Google Analytics, Looker Studio, keyword-generating tools, feed management tools;
  • Data-driven approach - ability to process large data sets & draw insights from reports;
  • Good attention to details and ability to follow processes, good interpersonal and strong communication skills;
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage to deliver projects with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & flexible hours; excellent organizational skills;
  • Degree (or the equivalent) in a related field (Marketing/Business/Communication);
