Unposting Date: 2024-05-31 11:59 PM Function: The Supervising Technician is our team liaison for our Toronto based studios and control rooms. They play a crucial role in supporting live programming through supervision of our on air technical systems and troubleshooting when necessary while working closely with our Technological Maintenance teams. Technical aptitude and creative problem solving is required to resolve operational difficulties in order to assess and optimize the use of our resources. Often works independently and performed according to accepted CBC or industry standards with a significant importance on sound judgment and initiative. There are requirements to work in a self-administered environment. Key Tasks:
Education Required: Requires a superior knowledge and understanding of radio or television program production and presentation methods. This includes understanding how different areas and crafts interrelate. Knowledge generally gained through community college graduation in Radio or Television arts courses, or equivalent industry experience. Experience Required: Four years related experience.
