Job Summary

As a Client List Screening / Name Screening - Manager in the Client Screening Department, you will play a critical role in the successful execution of the firm's compliance mission. You will be responsible for understanding and implementing Global Screening standards, guidelines, policies, and procedures. You will have direct oversight over a team, ensuring that the work output meets the required standards. You will also be expected to develop excellent relationships with other Client Screening Locations across regions and proactively gather and coordinate any changes to the firm's screening policies/processes. This role provides an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team in a fast-paced and challenging area.

Job Responsibilitie

  • Understanding and implementation of Global Screening standards, guidelines, policies and procedures
  • Oversee over a team of people including the day to day management ensuring that the thru put of work is to the required standards expected, including coaching and mentoring of the Core Processing Analysts on a daily basis
  • Documenting and escalation of any issues and concerns to the CLS Senior Management
  • Understanding of all the risk and controls partners (Quality Assurance, Quality Testing, Controls and the RCSA process) as it pertains to the team. Execution of any expected work
  • Develop excellent relationships with the other Client Screening Locations across regions.
  • Proactively gather and coordinate any changes to the firms screening policies / processes with Compliance or LOB Operations and Client List Screening
  • Understand and learn the existing procedures in place and then help with the training execution to the expanded team once all hires are in place
  • Create an effective and efficient team through continuous communication, timely feedback, and appropriate supervisory practices


Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilitie

  • Minimum 5 year experience in the Financial Services industry (local or international) with a demonstrated track-record of delivery and/or relevant experience in Client Onboarding Compliance, Know Your Customer / Know Your Client, and Screening.
  • Minimum 1 year experience as people manager
  • A bachelor's degree is required, finance or other related disciplines
  • Outstanding client management, partnership building, leadership and direct experience of dealing with multiple stakeholders at one time
  • Ability to deep-dive and investigate issues to see a successful resolution and broker the solution to applicable key managers
  • Experience with the build out and execution of a new team or procedures, ability to identify risks and issues and successfully navigate through to completion; proven track record of ongoing coaching, educating and directing a team, ideally has experience with leading a new team where there is limited knowledge in place and needs to be developed over time.
  • Strong leader who has experience with managing medium to large teams in an operational environment, able to show direction and guidance on a regular basis


Shift Schedule: Amenable to 5:30AM - 2:30PM (Manila Time) core hours, with flexibility to follow mid-shift schedule onsite
