The Opportunity: As the technical expert, you will be called upon to research and resolve issues, as well as recommend long-term strategic technical decisions. Work includes directing technical planning and design activities, including validation and verification of network strategies, cost analysis, risk assessment, and compatibility. The role requires managing project timetables. What you will do: Subject matter expert for design, implementation, migration, and deployment for a multi-vendor environment. Creating and implementing network security measures including cyber security. Design, plan, and present new network solutions to stakeholders and management. Training and mentoring network engineers, Maintaining existing networks, Troubleshooting issues as they arise, Improving existing infrastructure Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations Maintain network security measures, such as firewalls and network access rights Who you are: College Degree and 7+ years experience managing network services to clients. Extensive experience in infrastructure: Hardware, Network, Infrastructure as Code, Product and vendor evaluation, IT standards, procedures, policy Expertise in Networks (data, wide area, local area, & voice operations) with advanced problem-solving and troubleshooting skills -Strong facilitation skills working with both internal and external parties. -Preferred experience with Python or Ansible -Subject matter expert in: Network Documentation, design and architecture and internet security Experience with Tools/Applications: Wireshark, DNA Center, ACI, SD-WAN Relocation is not available for this role. The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Vacaville, CA is $100,000 min and $165,000 max of hiring range. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
