Details Posted: 16-Apr-24 Location: Troy, Alabama Type: Full-time Categories: Operations Operations - Ticket Office Sector: Collegiate Sports Troy Athletics is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated individual to serve as the Assistant Athletics Director/Director of Ticket Operations. This position is a key member of the revenue generation team and works in consultation with the Executive Associate Athletics Director to design and implement a comprehensive ticket sales and revenue generation program in support of Troy Athletics while also creating and implementing new revenue generating events. The Assistant Athletics Director/Director of Ticket Operations is a key member of the athletics external operations team and will be an active participant in strategic decisions for the overall athletics department. This position will act as the department head for the Troy Athletics Ticket Office while also assisting with revenue generating events for the Athletics Department. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: •Oversees the day-to-day operation of the ticket office including daily customer service work, overall supervision of ticket office personnel and gameday operations for all sports. •Responsible for assisting patrons on the phone, in person, as well as through email communications, including the general ticket office email account as well as targeted email campaigns through Eloqua. •Serves as the direct liaison for Troy's relationship with Paciolan. Expected to stay up-to-date on best practices within the platform and bring new ideas for revenue generation to the team. •Manages all facets of ticket operations for football, men's basketball, women's basketball and baseball. Will have the ability to assign responsibilities within these sports with direct reports. •Aids in the resolution of customer complaints or problems for donors, athletic coaches and staff, alumni, public ticket purchasers and other assorted groups. •Works in conjunction with the Troy Athletics Development Staff, Marketing Staff, Learfield AMPLIFY Team, Communications and Graphic Designs teams. •Travels to all road football games to administer and distribute player, coach, and administrator tickets and will call. •Travels to all NCAA championship ticketed events that involve a Troy Athletics program. Will also, on occasion, travel to select Sun Belt Championships to oversee tickets and will call. •Oversees the screening, hiring, and training of ticket office graduate assistants, student interns and gameday sellers. •Responsible for compliance with all state, University, NCAA and Sun Belt rules regarding ticket sales and distribution. •Ability to develop, create, document and implement successful ticket sales strategies and customer retention plans for all ticketed sports. •Additional responsibilities assigned based on experience.
