Head Golf Professional - Plantation on Crystal River

Plantation On Crystal River Golf Club is searching for a qualified candidate who possess outstanding customer service qualities and a positive attitude to lead our team in the golf operation as the Head Golf Professional. 

Preferred minimum of 2 years working in and managing a Golf operation. Enrollment in PGA program or Class A PGA certification is a plus. 

• Manages all member golf events.
• Creates the schedule for the golf shop team in addition to managing all time off requests.
• Focuses on merchandise sales and the staff’s responsibility to promote, sell and keep the visual image and displays in the shop organized and appealing.
• Establishes and implement short- and long-range organizational goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
• Interacts positively with staff, guests, community members, and visitors to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Coordinates with the Golf CourseSuperintendent on the planning and scheduling of golf course events and maintenance.
• Professionally represents and promotes the Resort to various media, businesses, local community organizations, and/or the general public.
• Support, advise, and maintain an organizational structure and staffing to effectively accomplish the organization's goals and objectives. Recruits, employs, trains, supervises, and evaluates staff.
• Performs other related functions as needed by the General Manager
• Additional duties may be assigned as business demands change.
