Entry Level/Intern/Operation Assistant Professional

Morris County Golf Club established in 1894, is a private member owned equity club with 400 members. The club does approximatley 20,000 rounds of golf each year. Morris County Golf Club is located in Morristown, NJ. In the last few years the club has seen a major renovation take place with work being completed on the Clubhouse, Golf Course, Practice facilties, Pool, and Paddle Courts. 

The golf operation features a vibrant Instructional, Junior Golf and Tournament/Outing Program. The position will begin in TBD April and end in early November. (Subject to change)

This position is perfect for an entry level Golf Professional, someone seeking a 6-7 month internship or someone looking to start a career in the golf industry. 

• Minimum of 1 year experience 
• Prior experience at a Private Facility is preffered, but not required

• Dynamic personality with strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, GHIN, Golf Genius and Foretees but not required
• Tournament management
• Junior Golf Leader- assist the management of our extensive Junior Golf Program
• Ladies Golf- assist the management of our active Ladies Golf Program 
• Part of the merchandising team with opening and closing requirements
• Assist in outing operations
• Compete in local/section events and play golf with the membership when time permits
• Winter (off-season) instructional program
• Club repair and fittings
