Job Summary: As a Credit Research Analyst within our China Asset Management Company, you will be immersed in a fast-paced, dynamic, and intellectually stimulating environment. You will need to leverage your strong financial analytical and business writing/communication skills, as well as your modelling and valuation experience. Your core responsibilities will include dissecting earnings releases and regulatory filings, assessing relevant news events, macro trends, modelling financial statements and industry dynamics, performing detailed valuation work, writing research notes and sector pieces, and making investment recommendations. Job Responsibilities: Follow specific sectors and companies Provide timely analysis and recommendation on covered companies and sectors Effectively communicate thoughts, ideas and analysis in written and oral form Maintaining regular contact with Global Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities (GFICC) colleagues globally , taking part in conference calls and responding to project requests Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills: Minimum 2 years' experience in China onshore credit research/investment role. Strong financial analytical skills Strong written and oral communication skills Demonstrate a strong ability to address risk and be comfortable with risk-taking Ability to work effectively with colleagues based in around the world Proficiency in English and Mandarin Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills: Experience in covering offshore credits (USD bonds) Experience in covering local-government financing vehicles (LGFV)/industrials/credit strategies.
