POSITION SUMMARY: The Event Manager connects with our guests to create a memorable hospitality experience. This position represents Joia Beach in all event opportunities and is responsible for reaching revenue goals for the Sales Department. The Events Manager is responsible for soliciting, planning and executing large group dining and large private events from start to finish. They are responsible for building business for the restaurant through direct and indirect sales techniques and works with the marketing manager to create promotions and marketing at the restaurant level. This position requires a combination of in-office, onsite event execution and offsite event execution availability. The hours required of the position include a flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays as the department and event calendar requires.
