Job Description

Summary

Based in the state-of-the-art Solothurn biologics drug substance manufacturing facility, the Global Manufacturing Sciences (MS) department provides key technical expertise for process transfer, validation & manufacturing operations at the site.

We are offering an internship for 6-8 months for exclusive insights into day-to-day Manufacturing Sciences activities with focus on supporting access, reporting, visualization & analytics of bioprocess data for trending & optimization.

Position Description

In this role, you will be working in conjunction with Manufacturing Scientists and/or Engineers:
  1. You support building & maintaining workflows for access, reporting, visualization & analytics of bioprocess data.
  1. You will analyse and trend bioprocess data for process validation & optimization.
  1. You will support authoring of technical & process validation reports.


Qualifications

The suitable candidate should have:
  • Excellent knowledge of bioprocessing & engineering concepts.
  • Experience to organize, visualize & analyse large data sets.
  • Strong communication, reporting & technical writing skills.
  • Self-driven & positive mindset, team player with desire to make impact.

Applicants must be authorized to work in Switzerland and enrolled in a MSc or BSc Program.

Education

Enrolled MSc or BSc in Chemical and/or Bioengineering, Biotechnology or closely related field with strong mathematical or data sciences background.
