SUMMARY: Proactively safeguards and protects company assets through clandestine surveillance operations for cheating, embezzlement and other illegal activities. Monitors company policy and procedure ensuring compliance by departments. Conducts surveillance operations utilizing CCTV and digital media surveillance equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operates cameras from control panel and observes monitor at same time, requiring hand-eye coordination.
  • Maintains a thorough knowledge of casino control laws, attendant regulations, as well as the property's internal controls.
  • Maintains surveillance daily shift logs, procedures violation reports and incident reports.
  • Ensures the protection of company assets and the safety of guest/patrons.
  • Ensures associates adhere to policy, procedures and gaming regulations.
  • Maintains a thorough knowledge of policy and procedures of all departments.
  • Maintains a thorough operational knowledge of the Digital Surveillance Media System.
  • Performs related tasks as required by the Surveillance Department Supervision/management.
  • Must be available for scheduled work.
  • Must exhibit the Family Style Service Model at all times.


QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. All Employees must be knowledgeable of all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Have six months or more years of relevant law enforcement, corporate security experience or casino operational experience. Prior law enforcement investigative and/or surveillance experience is desirable.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must possess and be able to maintain the applicable regional Gaming card(s) and/or License(s), if any.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must be able to effectively communicate in English. Must be able to read and write simple lists, interoffice memorandums, and business correspondence.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
