JOB DESCRIPTION:

Synchronization Licenses for TV shows, online and low budget film requests:
  • Handle high volume clearance clients and multiple deals across various sectors.
  • Handle specific Synch projects. For these projects:
  • Enter into Tempo.
  • Research songs with respect to copyright information and writer information.
  • Send out and receive approvals.
  • Assist clients with administrative questions.


KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:

Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree required. Some experience in music publishing or related field desirable.

Special Skills/Requirements:
  • MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, Internet, proficiency with proprietary data driven systems.
  • Able to complete a high volume of sync requests.
  • Attention to detail a must.
  • Work autonomously.
  • problem solving skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle several projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to prioritize, handle heavy workload.
  • Must be motivated, responsible and able to exercise good judgment. Must be able to take initiative.
  • Knowledge of popular music and music terminology.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the SMP catalog.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the SMP systems, policies and procedures.

DISCLAIMER:

The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $48,000-$55,000. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
