Southern Arkansas University is a highly competitive member of the Great American Conference (NCAA Division II.) Duties: Assist the Head Athletic Trainer with all aspects of the Athletic Training department; provide medical coverage for athletic teams as assigned; attend practices, and attend both home and away competitions as necessary; assist with inventory management; assist with administration of the in-house drug testing program; supervise athletic training/work-study students and other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required; 2-5 years athletic training experience; CPR/First Aid certified (Instructors Certificate is a plus); BOC Certification required; Arkansas State Athletic Trainers License or eligible; must be able to work independently, as well as part of the whole athletic training team.
