Lift Maintenance Laborer - Summer 2024

Job Overview

The Lift Maintenance department is looking for general laborers to assist with lift maintenance projects this Summer.

The applicants should enjoy working outside, be able to partake in physical labor and be willing to take on various tasks for this project work.

Duties

• Operate Riblet, Yan, and Leitner Poma lifts as needed for line work
• Build sheaves (Poma, Riblet)
• Organize and maintain a clean shop/work area
• Runner for tools/equipment
• Operate side by side/ work truck as needed
• Assist in lift annual Maintenance tasks

Skills and Requirements

• Familiarity with ski lift an advantage.
• Knowledge of hand tools and their proper use.
• Ability to use small tools and machinery.
• Capable of following instructions and directives.
• Must consider courtesy and safety high priorities.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy bags, supplies and other equipment up to 100 lbs in weight.
• Completes all work efficiently to the highest possible quality.
• Completes work quickly and efficiently in a productive manner.
• Ability to perform light and heavy physical labor, lifting and outdoor work as consistent with the operations of the Lift Maintenance department.
• Have a valid CA driver's license.
• Ability to work 40 hrs./week.
