Equipment Operator (Snow plow)

Brundage Mountain Resort is seeking a part time equipment operator to plow on-mountain parking lots and the Goose Lake Road from Highway 55 to Brundage. This is the ideal job for those with a flexible schedule to work hard when it snows hard and relax on groomer days. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clean ice and snow from equipment and complete equipment inspections
• Plow and move snow in a safe and efficient manner with various types of machinery; such as Loaders, Plow Trucks, etc.
• Assess conditions and needs for plowing, sanding or other snow maintenance 
• Follow written and oral directions from supervisor/manager
• Constant awareness to conditions and surroundings, ensuring no property damage occurs
• Communicate regularly with other team members on changing snow conditions

Job Qualifications:

• Highschool diploma or equivalent
• Critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Experience operating front end loaders, backhoes, skid steers and other heavy equipment preferred, will train for necessary skills
• Must be available to work flexible hours including early mornings, holidays and weekends
• Should enjoy being outdoors and able to work in winter conditions 
• Must have a clean driving record and valid driver’s license
• No CDL required
